My promise

As a massage therapist and wellness coach, I honor your expertise in your own life and aim to be a supportive partner in your wellness journey. My focus is on using the healing power of massage to help you connect with your body and rediscover balance. Through regular bodywork, we’ll work together to achieve your goals and enhance your overall well-being. I believe that combining targeted massage techniques with coaching creates a powerful pathway to body literacy and accountability. I look forward to collaborating with you to bring about lasting change!

Cancellation/Tardiness

  • All appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a full charge for the appointment. The card saved on file will be used to process any applicable fees.

  • Massage/bodywork is not appropriate care for infectious or contagious illness. Please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware of an infectious or contagious condition. If it is within the 24-hour notice period, the cancellation fee may be waived.  

  • 3 cancellations in a 12 month period will result in termination of contract.

  • Appointment times are fixed and cannot be extended due to lateness. You are responsible for the full payment of the session length that was originally booked.

  • Appointments are for current clients only. To ensure fairness for anyone on a waitlist, appointments cannot be given to family/friends if the person scheduled cannot make it.

  • Ideally, we will book the subsequent appointment after each session. Planning ahead ensures we stay on schedule, consistency is key!

  • Texts outside of business hours (M-F 12-6pm) will be answered the following business day

Payment

  • I accept payment by card only, utilizing secure processing through Square. A card must be saved on file for your appointment, and I will charge this card at the end of your session. I don’t charge for add-ons, as all services are included in your session price, ensuring you get the best value. Additionally, since I do not accept tips, this streamlined checkout process allows you to know exactly how much you will be charged. A receipt can be emailed or texted to you based on your preference.

  • I can provide invoices in the case that insurance will reimburse you, but I do not providing coding for insurance.

Preparing for my arrival (in-home clients) 

  • I will arrive approximately 5 to 10 minutes prior to our scheduled massage time to check in and set up table. This ensures that we begin at the time that you booked. For example, if you are booked for 5 pm I will arrive at approximately 4:50 to ensure we begin at 5. If I am late due to traffic etc., or check in takes a little longer than 10 minutes this WILL NOT come out of your massage time. Check ins are to stay on topic of massage related issues as other concerns may be discussed during coaching sessions.

  • Please ensure that pets and children are situated prior to my arrival. Additionally, I need an approximately 5ft x 10ft area cleared for the massage table setup. If there are more than one flight of stairs, please let me know in advance, as my table is large and may not be able to accommodate certain walk-ups.

  • If we begin late due to the space not being ready when I arrive approximately 10 minutes before your start time, that does come out of your massage time.

  • I want to make sure you get everything you need out of your session. Spend a few minutes getting into your body prior to my arrival. Take deep breaths. Pay special attention to how you have been feeling the days leading up to the session. The more information you can provide me with how you feel, the more effective I can be!

Termination of Care

  • In the event that there is inappropriate nature of either your language or actions, I will find it necessary to terminate the session and leave promptly. Future appointments will no longer be accepted unless otherwise notified. You will be charged the full session amount using the card on file. A copy of this will be filed in your Health Record.
