What does a massage session include?
I offer an integrative massage experience. What does that mean? Integrative Massage is a personalized approach that tailors each session to meet your unique needs. Drawing on a diverse range of modalities—including trigger point therapy, deep tissue, swedish, sports massage, Thai massage, cupping, and more. I create a customized experience that addresses your specific concerns.
I believe in open communication, allowing us to decide together what techniques will best serve you in the moment. That’s why I don’t charge extra for any modalities; the focus is solely on your comfort and well-being and making sure you get what you need. This holistic method promotes access to all of my tools and knowledge where applicable.
**For in-home sessions we do need to plan ahead of time for hot stones, so please let me know if you are interested in utilizing those!
What is a wellness coaching session?
Coaching sessions are designed for individuals seeking to cultivate intrinsic motivation and accountability as they work toward their health goals. As a board-certified health and wellness coach, I integrate coaching into our bodywork sessions to explore strategies that resonate with your personal journey and experiences. Between sessions, we’ll connect through a 30-minute coaching call to check in on your progress, discuss supportive actions, and address any challenges or insights that have arisen. This holistic approach empowers you to stay focused and engaged in your wellness journey, ensuring you have the tools and support needed to achieve your goals.
How are Thai massage sessions different?
Thai massage combines gentle stretching and acupressure, using rhythmic compressions along energy lines known as "Sen" lines to promote relaxation and energy flow. Unlike traditional massage, Thai massage is performed on a mat on the floor, allowing clients to remain fully clothed in comfortable, loose-fitting attire. I utilize my hands, elbows, knees, and feet to manipulate the body, creating deeper stretches and a more dynamic experience. Hot herbal compresses are also used throughout the treatment to help areas open up before they are worked on. Thai massage incorporates elements of yoga and meditation, aiming to balance the body’s energy while promoting both physical and mental well-being. To fully integrate the stretches and techniques, sessions are available in 90 or 120 minutes.
What is cupping?
Cupping is a therapeutic technique that involves placing specially designed cups on the skin to create negative pressure. I use Baguanfa cups, which are made of silicone and are uniquely designed to glide over bones and muscles, effectively opening up the fascia. The suction effect of these cups helps bring deeper issues to the surface for targeted treatment and mobilizes the lymphatic system, releasing stagnation. This also promotes blood circulation, relieves muscle tension, and enhances overall relaxation. Cupping can be targeted to specific areas of discomfort or applied more broadly during a full body massage. It is especially effective when combined with passive stretches to open up joints and improve flexibility. While cupping may leave temporary marks on the skin, these are not painful and typically fade within a few days.

I respond to messages during the hours of Monday to Friday, 12 PM to 6 PM. While I strive to respond as promptly as possible, please note that I may not answer calls as I am frequently in session.
Due to my work being both out-call and in-studio, I do not offer online scheduling, as it cannot accommodate travel time and can become complicated. Once we establish a relationship, I will ensure your next session is booked at the end of your current appointment for ease and consistency.
Thank you for your understanding!
